Hello 2026
Welcome, my fabulous and faithful readers, to the first episode of 2026! I’d like to begin the year by giving you a hand. Literally. Now, please, join me in giving yourselves a huge round of applause. Thank you. Happy New Year, my friends.
The hand is one of the most powerful and overlooked instruments we possess. It applauds, points, pushes, pulls, protects, creates, communicates, and connects. Long before words are formed in the mind, the hand is already expressing intention. It reveals what we value, what we reach for, and what we’re willing to let go of.
In “The Power of the Hand,” we’ll explore how this humble appendage is far more than a mechanical tool. It is a messenger of awareness, a mirror of the mind, and a direct extension of our inner world into the outer one. As we step into this new year together, let’s begin by noticing what our hands are doing. Because when we understand the hand, we begin to understand how thought becomes action, and how awareness becomes form.
The Wizard Within the Wave
Inside every human being lives a quiet wizard, a hidden conductor humming beneath the surface of thought. An ancient, instinctive, immeasurable intelligence that does not think in sentences. It does not argue, analyze, or agonize; it communicates through electric signals, emotional sensations, and cellular sparks. This Wizard is the electromagnetic intelligence of the body. The superconductor of the subconscious. Our nervous system, heart’s magnetic glow, and the cellular currents of life combine into one intelligence. And like the Wizards in every tale, it works through a wand.
Your hands, warm, wired, and wildly sensitive, are the extensions of this electromagnetic intelligence. They shape the world, channel energy, create art, and carry intention outward. We know this instinctively, and when words are not possible, the hand becomes the voice through which our invisible inner world becomes audible.
The Hand: The Wand of the Wizard
Our hands are electromagnetic hotspots overflowing with nerve endings, sensory intelligence, microcurrents, and muscular activity. Your palms are rich in electrical potential, and your fingertips are sensitive enough to feel a single hair fall. Biologically speaking, a neural spark precedes every movement of the hand. Active muscles generate magnetic fields. Blood flow carries subtle electrical charges. Warm skin radiates infrared energy. Emotionally speaking, we touch to comfort, reach out to connect, gesture to express, and play instruments to turn feeling into sound.
Spiritually and energetically, across traditions, the hand is the place where inner intention becomes outer influence. When musicians perform, the hands become more than tools; they become translators of the inner musician, carrying invisible electrical intention into audible expression. The hands become channels of calm, clarity, and compassion when used by healers. When humans comfort one another, the hands become bridges. The Hand, the Wizard’s wand, is the place where electrical energy meets the material world.
The Hand: The Switch Between Worlds
We often think of the hand as something that presses valves, holds the trumpet, writes words, lifts objects, and gestures to others. But the hand is far more than a tool. It is a bridge. It lies at the end of a vast neural network that connects our thoughts to movement, emotion to expression, breath to calmness, and our intention for healing
When the hand relaxes, the Breath softens. If the hand tenses, the Breath shortens. With a few slow, deep breaths, the entire nervous system shifts from fight-or-flight to parasympathetic healing mode.
The Hand: A Barometer of the Mind
If you want to know what your mind is doing, look at your hands. Are they tight or relaxed? Are your fingers gripping or your wrist stiff? Can you feel a buzzing anxiety running through them? Your hands reveal the truth of your internal landscape long before the mind admits it. When the mind is racing, the hands constrict. When the mind is calm, the hands become warm, open, steady, and receptive.
The hands are directly wired into the autonomic nervous system. Your sympathetic “fight-or-flight” branch of the nervous system tightens the muscles, and your parasympathetic “rest-and-heal” branch softens them. Calming breathwork often starts with a simple instruction like, “Relax your hands. Let them open. Let them fall.” It is the gesture of release, symbolically and neurologically.
Electric Enchantment, Electromagnetic Body
Every cell in your body carries an electrical charge. Each heartbeat sends a wave of electrical activity rippling outward. Every nerve fires, sending signals that activate the muscles, organs, and mind. Where there is electricity, there is magnetism. Where there is magnetism, there is a field. Thus, every human body is surrounded by a shifting, shimmering electromagnetic field. Not metaphorically, but quite literally.
Modern instruments such as EKG, EEG, MEG, and EMG measure these electrical patterns every day, evidence that we are broadcasting beings. And yet this field is not random or static. It is responsive, changing with emotion, breath, belief, and focus. In other words, your inner Wizard shapes the field you live inside.
Sunlight in Our Heart
The strongest of these fields arises from the heart. This powerful biological generator generates magnetic waves that extend several feet beyond the body. The brain is an ocean of synaptic sparks that sculpt our inner world. And, the muscles, especially in coordinated movements for playing a musical instrument, using the body for any athletic adventure, or simply reaching out with intention.
Think of the Heart as the sun in the body’s electromagnetic solar system. Its magnetic field is 60–100 times stronger than the brain’s and radiates in all directions, spherical, steady, subtle yet strong. If the heart is chaotic, rushed breathing, tension, and stress begin, disharmonizing the system and causing the field to become jagged. When the heart is coherent, it exhibits a smooth, wave-like rhythm, and the entire electromagnetic system reorganizes.
Heart Harmonizing
This coherence influences our Emotional state, Mental clarity, physical coordination, stress recovery, intuition, communication, and the flow state musicians and athletes seek. The Wizard depends on this coherence, thriving on calm currents to cast his spells. Science calls it heart-brain synchronization, and mystics call it presence, stillness, or alignment. Both are speaking of the same phenomenon. When the heart is calm, the whole human system harmonizes.
Muscle movement, nerve signaling, hormone secretion, and metabolic momentum all depend on the precise flow of charged particles across cellular membranes. Ion channels act as selective switches, pumps operate against gradients with gusto, and the sodium–potassium pump alone consumes a substantial portion of the body’s energy budget. Lose this electrical order, and biological brilliance breaks down.
Music as Electromagnetic Expression
When breath slows, when emotion settles, when attention rests on sound instead of judgment, something remarkable happens. The electrical rhythms of the brain, heart, muscles, and nerves begin to synchronize, and the field becomes coherent. Energy moves efficiently, and signals arrive on time. Muscles fire in the proper sequence without force, and action flows without effort. This isn’t control, this is trust.
When my horn sings, it is not my lips that lead, not my fingers, not even the conscious mind. It is the field of electromagnetic flow, following the music that is flowing through my entire system. The music exists first as an organized electrical pattern within the body. The heart sets the feel, the brain supplies timing, and the body executes without commentary. Thinking tries to improve the signal, but instead fractures it. Letting go restores coherence. My body already knows how to play.
Electromagnetic Magic Mountain
Seen from top to bottom, intention organizes electricity into expression. Awareness shapes coherence, coherence orders oscillations, oscillations guide nerves, nerves influence fascia and muscle, muscles obey cellular voltages, and motion appears. Human beings are not merely using electricity. The human being is a living, learning, luminous electromagnetic process, discovering how to play itself well.
At the summit, awareness sits, where attention meets electricity. Focus refines firing patterns as calm clarifies coherence, letting go lowers noise. Flow emerges when heart and brain fall into rhythmic rapport and internal resistance recedes. The quieter the thinker, the cleaner the signal.
A Quiet Truth
You are not a machine being operated by a thinker, but a living electromagnetic field, shaped by attention, emotion, breath, and intention. When awareness replaces interference, the field organizes itself. When the field organizes itself, the music plays itself.
Don’t think, just play. Lights, camera, the signal runs the action.
